Fade Meadow is an Indie Folk singer-songwriter hailing from the Blue Mountains, Australia. Drawing influence from artists such as Cat Power, Sharon Van Etten and Mazzy Star, Fade Meadow has crafted an authentic sound which is uniquely her own. Her lyrical storytelling reflects on personal experiences, creating a connection that resonates deeply with her audience.
Fade Meadow’s debut single ‘Shifting Focus’ was released independently in February 2024. The accompanying film clip, shot on 16mm film against a stunning Blue Mountains backdrop, beautifully captures a very moving personal journey reflective of the song’s themes. The single was premiered through ‘Melodic Mag’, the write-up describing it as "Infused with haunting melodies, ethereal tones, and dreamy atmospheres, her sound transports listeners to a realm of emotive depth and introspection”.
Her follow up single ‘It’s Electric’ was released in December 2024, a heartfelt track about unspoken desires and blurred emotions. Featuring raw lyrics, catchy guitar hooks, and upbeat melodies, ‘It’s Electric’ will stay with you long after the last note ends.
